HAVU Gaming has won all three Counter-Strike tournaments played at Assembly Summer in Helsinki.

In addition to the Finnish and Nordic championships, HAVU won the Asus ROG Masters Nordic qualifiers and qualified to the Asus ROG Masters EMEA qualifiers later on this month.

Assembly Summer 2017 Opening Day culminated at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre when the two rivals HAVU and iGame met in the Finnish Championship final. The first map was Inferno which was picked by HAVU. HAVU had a strong start on the T-side and went on to lead 13-2 at halftime and on the CT-side they won the pistol round and then won the match by picking up last two rounds (16-3). iGame did not even get the game on in the second map which was their pick Overpass, where HAVU secured the Finnish Championship with a convincing 16-5 and won their first Finnish champion title.

In the Asus ROG Masters Nordic qualifiers final HAVU met Vitalis. The first map was set to be Mirage, where HAVU quickly gained twelve rounds on the CT side and comfortably won the map 16-3. In Inferno, HAVU started strong on the T-side, but got into the trouble on the CT-side. Despite the 12-3 lead, the game went to the overtime but it wasn’t enough for Vitalis to come back as HAVU closed it out with 19-16 win.
